Dealing with your goals, desires for the future
BOSTON HERALD
Boston, MA
January 13, 2003
Did the stress of dodging your relatives' questions about what you want to do in the future make you want to shorten your winter vacation?
"Fishing for a Major" (Natavi Guides, $6.95) offers tips for narrowing down your desires and meeting those goals. The book was written by Harvard University student Julio Machado, with advice from students from more than a dozen schools, including Boston University and the University of Massachusetts at Amherst.
If you're already interested in a particular field, you can read another book from the Students Helping Students series. "Scoring a Great Internship" (Natavi, $6.95) offers tips for finding and making the most of your internship, including what to include on your resume and how to dazzle a potential employer during an interview.
