NOTES FROM THE REAL WORLD

High school and college can often feel like isolated capsules--you’re seeing the same people and buildings day after day and studying things that often seem too abstract to ever be useful in the real world. Is your education going to help you be successful in life? Are you getting what you need out of it? Are there things you can do to make your high school and college experience--and heck, your life!--better?

I’ve been there, and until I graduated from college four years ago and got a taste of the so-called real world, I had the same questions as well.

And that’s why I decided to write the NOTES FROM THE REAL WORLD column--to share with you what I’ve learned after graduation about things and skills that help me succeed and what I wish I'd done differently when I had the chance.

I’d like to hear what you think and what questions you have about your high school or college experience, life after graduation, or anything else. Email me at nataly@nataviguides.com and I’ll do my best to get back to you quickly and usefully.
